What can I say about collaborating with Daniel Sherman, nothing better comes to mind than it’s never a dull moment? To meet someone in his early 20’s with so much motivation, success driven, and yet so humble. Daniel is as real as they come, what you see is what you get, and while working with him I got the opportunity to witness his raw creativity unfold.
While on set of his music video “What you want”, through the lens of my camera I was able to witness this creativity firsthand. One minute he’s working with a special affects artist for the shoot, and next, the camera is rolling, and Daniel becomes the video’s character. As he begins thrashing around on the floor, (spoiler alert. . . only if you haven’t seen the video, I’ve provided a link below.
So, I find myself submerged in the moment, maneuvering the set, and trying to stay out of the way of the videographer. There really is a sort of formula to capturing that perfect shot, the angle, the lighting, that perfect shutter speed. It’s a challenge, one that I am willing to take for as long as I can.
I am happy to say that since the collaboration of “What you want” Daniel, and I have been able to work together again. The “Uncaged” video was by far one of those days that you just feel like “this is happening right now” you can check out “Uncaged” with the link too.
